Casey Cochran Committed Connecticut

This guy is a very productive, competent passer that possesses a live arm, good feet and above average athleticism. He reminds us of Rutgers QB Chas Dodd both in style and stature. The downside with Cochran is that he lacks ideal height, but does possess a significant amount of bulk.

Kris Dunn Signed with Providence

Dunn is a young and talented guard who is really just beginning to scratch the surface of his potential. The key for him is confidence; he finally believes he is a player. He has good versatility in the backcourt, able to play either guard position.

Stevie Johnson mocks Plaxico Burress

 Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stevie Johnson regretted his second-quarter touchdown celebration against the New York Jetss on Sunday in which he mocked Plaxico Burress by pretending to shoot himself in the thigh, calling it a "stupid" decision.

Urban Meyer joins Ohio State

Columbus will be the fourth stop in the 47-year-old Meyer's coaching career. He had a 104-23 record over 10 seasons with Bowling Green, Utah and Florida. From 2001-10, he had five 10-win seasons, the two BCS titles with the Gators and a 7-1 record in bowl games -- including the Gators' 41-14 victory over unbeaten and top-ranked Ohio State in the 2007 title game.

100 years of Stonington v. Westerly

On Thanksgiving Day, the Stonington High Bears and the Westerly High Bulldogs marked the 100th anniversary of their football rivalry with a game at Stonington.Westerly won 31-28

You can't fix Tony Romo

These talks we're having regarding the status of quarterback Tony Romo are rather silly. Can he be fixed?

Yeah, if you cut him. But that's not happening.

Romo is who he is at this stage of his career. If he doesn't know about protecting the ball in the late stages of games after starting in this league since 2006, then he never will.
